MatterCheck is an independent informational site with no accounts, no sign-ups, no comments and no email list.
Who we are
MatterCheck is operated by GetMatterCheck at getmattercheck.com. Contact: [email protected]. This policy is governed by Singapore law.
What data is processed
MatterCheck does not run its own server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address, browser user-agent, page requested and time to deliver and secure the site. Cloudflare handles this under its own privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Currently, no ads are shown and no ad or third-party script loads. The site uses no analytics, no cookies, no local storage, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. All scripts and data files are first-party.
The site has a Google AdSense account and is being prepared for Google’s review. Every page carries a passive <meta name="google-adsense-account"> verification tag and the site serves /ads.txt. Neither sets cookies or runs code.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Ads are not shown now. When ads are switched on, Google AdSense ads will appear on some pages and will be labelled “Advertisement”. Ads will not appear on the Privacy, Terms or Affiliate pages.
Google and third-party vendors use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings or My Ad Center. Users can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at AboutAds.info choices, or at YourOnlineChoices.eu for Europe.

When ads are on, visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will see Google’s consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before personalised ads. They can change their choice later via the “Privacy & cookie settings” link in the footer of pages that show ads. Without consent, Google may show non-personalised or limited ads. These ads may still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud and abuse prevention.
We do not sell personal data. AdSense gives us aggregated reports only.
If you email us, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards your message to the operator’s mailbox. We receive your email address and message. We use it only to reply. We do not sell or share it. You can ask us to delete it.
Outbound links
Links go to manufacturers, platforms and reviewers. Their sites have their own privacy practices.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. MatterCheck is not directed at children.
If we change this
We will update this page and its date before enabling ads or adding analytics, sign-ups or affiliate links. When ads go live, we will update the “Last updated” date.
