Product notes
IKEA (product page, read 2026-10-19): Matter over Thread, needs a Thread border router; works with Amazon, Apple, Google, Homey and Samsung. Measures CO2, PM2.5, temperature and humidity. By platform (air quality row, 2026-10-19): Apple Home pairs and shows readings; only the overall air quality level can start automations, and the temperature reading is reported missing. Google Home shows CO2 and PM2.5; starters only in the Script Editor (Partial). Alexa pairs and shows readings; routine starters unknown. SmartThings: owners run routines on CO2 and PM2.5 (Med). Home Assistant: all readings, usable in automations.
v0.46: re-primaried temp_humidity→air_quality_sensor after CSA records (CSA2602MMAT49502-24 and CSA25366MAT45752-24) both list primary 0x002C Air Quality Sensor; temp_humidity kept as also-type. v1.15 (2026-10-19): refreshed — two newer CSA certs (fw 1.0.26, May and June 2026) added; per-platform summary now follows the air quality row instead of 'not documented'.
How it differs from the type answer
- CSA primary device type is Air Quality Sensor 0x002C (CO2 + PM2.5 concentration, plus temperature and humidity endpoints per Matter Survey) — re-primaried to air_quality_sensor in v0.46.
