Product notes
CSA Matter End Product, Primary Device Type 0x000F Generic Switch (all three certs). IKEA US retail: Matter compatible; works with Amazon, Apple, Google, Homey and Samsung systems; controls up to 10 smart products (on/off, dim, colour, groups, scenes). IKEA manual: 2x AAA/HR03, 10 m range; can also pair directly to IKEA smart products without a system. Sold in IKEA US/SE/CH/IE (CH CHF 5.95).
v0.51 add (High): CSA 0x000F Generic Switch x3 certs + IKEA US retail with Matter claim. Thickens switch_button 3->5 with a true Generic Switch (prior wall switches certified as 0x0100 light were excluded).
How it differs from the type answer
- Battery Generic Switch remote (event source), not a wired load switch — maps to the trigger side of the switch_button row.
- Matter over Thread only: no Wi-Fi; a Thread Border Router is required for phone/app control.
- No SKU-level automation test this pass; rely on type row.
