How it differs from the type answer
- A wall switch that reports as a Matter plug-in unit: Apple Home adds it as an Outlet; set Display As to Light in its settings.
- Its paddle and config button also show as Matter buttons (single, multi-tap, hold, release); Inovelli lists Apple Home, SmartThings, Hubitat and Home Assistant for multi-tap scenes.
- Built-in humidity and temperature readings appear as Matter sensors (humidity sensor under the paddle).
- Simulated dimming is not offered over Matter, because controllers treat a plug-in unit as on/off only; the LED bar is a separate colour-light endpoint for notifications.
