Product notes
ANNOUNCEMENT / pre-ship (checked 2026-10-16). Apple Home Collection co-designed with LG: one-tap iPhone setup, Home app only (no separate LG account). Matter + Aliro; core access works locally without internet. UWB Home Key hands-free unlock, NFC tap, PIN, hidden physical key. Door open/closed/tamper sensing. Guest access via Home app. Multi-platform Matter fabric behavior outside Apple Home: Unknown until ship/CSA — do not invent Alexa/Google/ST/HA support.
Recheck: CSA lists LG Smart Deadbolt Lock only under Aliro cert CSA26020ALR80032-UW (not Matter) as of 2026-10-16. Keep Med. v0.54 recheck 2026-10-16 ~15:00 SGT: CSA page still Aliro-only (CSA26020ALR80032-UW, certified 2026-10-15). DCL ledger: LG VID 0x102E lists 10 models (TMS*/TMC* Korea sensors, buttons, switches, plug) and no lock; LG VID 0x10D2 has no models. No Matter cert -> keep Med. Missing: Matter end-product cert (likely at ship). v1.15 (2026-10-19): removed the per-product December 2026 shelf date, which no source gave for this model. Apple: Home Collection availability 'begins in December, with select accessories available starting early 2027' (Newsroom 2026-10-13; Apple doesn't say which). Apple shop page (read 2026-10-19): 'Coming later. Check back for availability.'
How it differs from the type answer
- Aliro + UWB Home Key hands-free path exceeds basic Matter door_lock type cells (parallel to Yale/Level Home Key notes).
- Tamper + open-while-locked sensing is SKU/sensor fusion beyond simple lock/unlock cluster.
- Apple-first Collection: Adaptive Home scenes with doorbell; other ecosystems not documented yet → Unknown off Apple.
- Confidence Med: official Apple+LG announce + model numbers + shop pages; devices not yet generally available for independent fabric tests.
