The SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+ is a Matter-certified robot vacuum and mop with a self-emptying base station. It connects over Wi-Fi using Matter 1.4; SwitchBot says it can be controlled natively in Apple Home, Amazon Alexa and Google Home with no extra hubs. MatterCheck's type-level robot_vacuum matrix lists pairing and control as Yes for Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings, Home Assistant, Homey and Hubitat, but no K11+-specific platform test has been reviewed yet.
SwitchBot K11+ Matter transport and CSA certification
The CSA DCL model record lists the SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+ under vendor ID 5015 and product ID 2043 with part number 1; its device type maps to robot vacuum. SwitchBot's CSA product entry says the certificate is CSA2543AMAT45964-24, certified June 30, 2025, with Matter specification version 1.4, transport interface Wi-Fi, hardware version 0 and firmware version 1.1.088. Because it uses Wi-Fi rather than Thread, no Thread border router is needed; see MatterCheck's Matter Thread vs Wi-Fi guide.
The same CSA entry marks TIS/TRP tested as Yes and describes the K11+ as a sweeping and mopping host with an automatic dust collection base station.
K11+ per-platform Matter matrix
These are MatterCheck's type-level answers for the robot_vacuum device type, not K11+-specific results. See the robot vacuum Matter support guide for type-level platform notes.
| Platform | Pairs | Control | Starts automations | Controlled by automations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apple Home | Yes | Yes | No | Yes |
| Google Home | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Amazon Alexa | Yes | Yes | Unknown | Yes |
| SmartThings | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Home Assistant | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Homey | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Hubitat | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
SwitchBot's product page names only Apple Home, Amazon Alexa and Google Home for native Matter control. The SmartThings, Home Assistant, Homey and Hubitat rows are MatterCheck's type-level answers for robot_vacuum, not K11+-specific confirmations. The only Unknown cell in this type matrix is Amazon Alexa starting automations.
SwitchBot K11+ cross-platform Matter behavior
At the type level, MatterCheck's matrix shows Google Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant, Homey and Hubitat as Yes for pairing, control, starting automations and being controlled by automations. Apple Home is Yes for pairing, control and being controlled by automations, but No for starting automations. Amazon Alexa is Yes for pairing, control and being controlled by automations; its starts-automations value is Unknown in MatterCheck's matrix.
SwitchBot's own K11+ page is narrower: it says the robot supports Matter and offers native control via Apple Home, Alexa or Google Home with no extra hubs. For sharing a Matter pairing across several controllers, see MatterCheck's Matter multi-admin sharing guide.
SwitchBot K11+ setup and official app steps
The K11+ user manual includes a Connecting to Our App section and a Network Reconfiguration item under troubleshooting. The manual also documents a Restoring Factory Settings procedure and Firmware Upgrades, but the excerpt does not list platform-by-platform Matter setup menu names.
Hardware controls documented in the manual: a power switch, a detachable faceplate, a Clean Button where a long press turns the robot on/off and a short press starts or pauses cleaning, and a Home Button where a short press starts recharging or pauses recharging. The DCL record's commissioning URL points to SwitchBot's Mini Robot Vacuum K-Series support category for setup guidance. If pairing fails, start with MatterCheck's Matter device not pairing guide.
SwitchBot K11+ specs, box contents and warranty
- Dust storage and base: SwitchBot says the self-emptying station is smaller than an A4 sheet and holds a 4 L antibacterial dust bag for up to 90 days.
- Suction: 6000 Pa with a tangle-resistant roller brush; SwitchBot says this is stronger than typical 4000 Pa models.
- Brushes and navigation: Anti-Tangle Twin Side Brush, LDS LiDAR mapping, PSD side sensors, drop sensors, 1.7 cm threshold climbing and no-go zones.
- Mopping: The CSA entry describes a sweeping and mopping host; the manual's care section includes cleaning the mopping pad plate.

SwitchBot K11+ verdict
- Buy if you want a Matter-over-Wi-Fi robot vacuum and mop with a 4 L self-emptying bag and 90-day dust storage, and you use Apple Home, Alexa or Google Home—SwitchBot names those three as no-extra-hub Matter targets.
- Buy if you value the smaller base station: CSA says the K11+ dust collection bucket is 45% smaller than the K10+ while keeping the 4 L bag.
- Skip if you need K11+-specific confirmation for SmartThings, Home Assistant, Homey or Hubitat; the type matrix says Yes, but MatterCheck has not reviewed product-specific tests.
- Skip if Apple Home automations triggered by the robot are important; the type matrix lists Apple Home starts-automations as No.
- Skip if Alexa automations triggered by the robot are required; its starts-automations cell is Unknown in MatterCheck's matrix.
